Congratulations to Huntsville artsVest participants for the outstanding partnerships created between local businesses and cultural organizations in 2011.

In the fall of 2011, with funding from Canadian Heritage, the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Business for the Arts entered Huntsville, offering $25,000 in matching funds to encourage business sponsorship and providing sponsorship training for local cultural organizations. The public, private and cultural leaders of Huntsville rallied behind the cause to strengthen arts and culture locally by building partnerships between business and the arts.

The results? 5 cultural organizations partnered with 30 local businesses, stimulating a total flow of $85,000 of sponsorship of arts and culture.
